Mr. Donnelly was appointed CEO by the Board of Directors and started leading the organization in July 2012. Mr. Donnelly brings with him 30 years of non-profit, executive level experience. Prior to coming to the organization, Mr. Donnelly served as Executive Vice President and CFO at Institute On Aging, CFO at Mount Zion Health Systems, Inc. and Director of Finance at Conard House, Inc. all located in San Francisco. He also served as Assistant Controller at Motion Picture and Television Fund located in Woodland Hills, California. Mr. Donnelly has a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Oregon. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for Bethany Center Senior Housing, Inc. of San Francisco. He also serves on the LeadingAge California Finance Committee, and San Francisco State University Gerontological Advisory Council. He previously served on the Board of Directors of Bethany Center Foundation.
Joe Conroy has been the Controller at Heritage on the Marina since April 2012. He was previously the Chief Financial Officer for six years at Insurance Educational Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating and providing educational training to professionals in the insurance industry. Prior to that, Joe held various finance positions over a 20 year span in corporate and business segment areas at Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company. Joe has extensive experience in both the for-profit and non-profit business sectors. He holds an MBA degree from the University of San Francisco and resides with his family in San Francisco.
Janet Howell has been the Director of Marketing and Admissions at Heritage on the Marina since September 2013. She was previously the Director of Marketing and Communications for approximately five years at Institute on Aging, a local non-profit organization dedicated to providing services to older adults in the Bay Area. Janet's experience also includes working as a System Technician for the State Bar of California and at Prudential Insurance in Marketing. Janet holds a degree in Marketing from San Francisco State University and is RCFE certified. Janet is a native of San Francisco and lives in the neighborhood with her family.
Yuzana Lesley joined Heritage on the Marina in July 2015. Prior to Heritage on the Marina, Yuzana spent eight years at ABC7/Disney ABC Television Group, serving as the Director of Human Resources/Labor Relations for the local TV station. Her career spans twenty plus years managing human resource departments in a variety of industries ranging from nonprofits (Institute on Aging, BAART, Baker Places) to technology companies (SRI International, DSL Networks). Her experience also includes consulting at KTSF, ABS-CBN and San Francisco Unified School District. Yuzana Lesley has a Master in Public Administration from University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts from University of East Anglia in Norwich, England. She has the Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) certification from the Society of HR Management.
Hanh Ta serves as the Nursing Home Administrator and Operations Director at Heritage on the Marina since January 2016. Hanh brings over 15 years of experience in the field of healthcare as a nursing home administrator and Senior Compliance Consultant. As a licensed nursing home administrator since January 2001, Hanh has achieved a successful track record of positive state surveys with Department of Public Health, JCAHO accreditation, and HUD inspections. Hanh holds Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California and a Master of Science in Gerontology from the University of Southern California. Hanh recently earned a law degree giving her a broad background in which to promote compliance for healthcare operations, deliver compassionate care to our residents and collaborative leadership for our staff. Hanh currently serves as board member for the Golden Gate Association of Health Facilities and is designated as Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) by the Compliance Certification Board.
