A terrific way to stay mobile and
see the best of the Bay Area

The Out & About program was a gift from the Barrett and Margaret Hindes Foundation, which presented Heritage on the Marina with a new passenger van and a generous endowment. Out & About provides expeditions every Tuesday, delivering residents to a broad range of Bay Area restaurants, museums, theaters, nature experiences, shopping opportunities and more. As one resident said, “Out & About trips are my mini-vacations. I go on as many as possible – they are so worthwhile, truly enjoyable and always an adventure.”

These are some of the places we’ve visited.  Residents can also design their own group trips.
